Lombok Island

Lombok Island

Washed by the Indian Ocean to the south and the Bali Sea to the north, the island of Lombok is part of the Lesser Sunda Islands of Indonesia. It is separated from Bali by the Lombok Strait, and from Sumbawa by the Alas Strait. Lombok attracts tourists with its unique landscapes: bright green hills, wild beaches, waterfalls, rare plants, steep mountain slopes and, of course, the Rinjani volcano - the second highest in Indonesia (3726 m). Trekking to its peak takes three days and promises unforgettable views.
You can get to Lombok by ferry (6 hours) or speedboat (1 hour) from Padang Bai port. Flights from Bali are also available and take just 40 minutes. The main city of the island is Mataram, the administrative center of the province of West Nusa Tenggara. The main infrastructure of the island is concentrated here.

Hotels and villas are being actively built in Lombok, located in the most picturesque places. The geometry of the buildings, natural materials and muted tones create an atmosphere of privacy and harmony.
This island is an ideal destination for those looking for unexplored corners of nature. Lombok has a calm atmosphere, without noisy parties and nightclubs. The locals are discreet and hospitable, and the island's nature is virtually untouched.

Fans of eco-tourism, trekking enthusiasts and connoisseurs of secluded beaches come to Lombok. The south coast is especially popular with surfers, while the west coast is especially popular with those looking for a relaxing holiday. Many travelers combine a visit to Lombok with a trip to the nearby Gili Islands.
