The island of Nusa Penida, with an area of just over 200 km², is located 12 kilometers southeast of Bali. This island, administratively part of Klungkung District, stands out for its natural beauty and relatively low level of urbanization, making it an excellent ecotourism destination. About 50 thousand people live here, and despite the weak tourist infrastructure, the island attracts travelers seeking solitude, adventure and the opportunity to come into contact with untouched nature.
